INFORMATION:

Take your laser engraving skills to the next level using xTool Creative Space, our xTool P2 laser cutter, and an RA3 Rotary Attachment. This week we will be etching images on powder coated tumblers.

Prerequisites: It is recommended that participants have earned the Laser Cutting for Beginners badge prior to registering for this workshop.

Reminder, participants must complete the Southeast Makerstudio online Orientation Course, and should have basic fine motor skills. Please plan on completing the Orientation Course several days prior to the workshop.

Summary: During this workshop you will learn how to engrave your custom design on cylindrical objects using the RA3 rotary attachment with a xTool P2 laser cutter. After this class you will have the skills to install the RA3 and engrave textiles such as tumblers, glasses, and other cylindrical objects. This course will be covering the same content every session, you do not have to attend more that one session unless you want a refresher.
